    Hello and welcome to EasyExpat.com!

Shopping is an Olympic sport for some people, while others just need tips on where to find common goods in Guadeloupe. Do you like to shop? What is your favorite part of shopping in Guadeloupe? What is the worst part? Where are your favorite shopping malls or boutiques?

What should new expats know about finding products in Guadeloupe? What did you find confusing to find when you moved aboard? Is there a special item you are still looking for?

Where is the best place to shop for groceries? Do you shop online or ship items from abroad?

Thank you for sharing your experience!

Hello expatriates. As for shopping in Guadeloupe, but rather poverty. Nothing compares to the European consumer. Here, everything is very expensive, there is a shipping fee called dock dues and is very heavy. Everything is terribly expensive here, even food, except for some local products, such as bananas !!! Basically, the sun can be costly. The amplettes are mostly in Destreland, Jarry, commercial area. Everything is done Jarry, because it's the only place where the shops are concentrated. There is also a possibility for the island of St. Martin if you want luxury goods, but the price of airfare or boat is taking in loads, but I've never tried to visit there so, to see. One thing is sure, everything is terribly expensive here, and wages do not follow. Goodbye, I am available for any questions.
