    Hello!

What public transportation is available in Barcelona? Is it easy to move about Barcelona? What modes of transport are available: Bus? Underground/Subway? Trams? Trains?

Do you use public transportation in Barcelona? Can you recommend it? Is it safe, inexpensive, and reliable? What is your experience? How much is a basic fare? Is there a monthly card, or discount options?

Thank you for sharing your tips, questions and advice!

Even though there are lots of stories online about metro being unsafe, especially for tourists, we didn't have any problems. You just need to be careful with your personal belongings, and everything is going to be fine.

When it comes to tickets, they offered us some punch in tickets, but immediately asked if they offer daily tickets. As it turned out, the daily tickets (called T-Dia) were more affordable, especially if you're going to spend lots of time traveling around the city. The price was 7.50 euros for one person, and it was valid all day in all vehicles.

Here is the list of cards you can buy for public transport in Barcelona: http://irbarcelona.org/getting-around-b ... portation/

    Hi friend!

Public transport in Barcelona is not expensive if you are moving just inside the city and if you buy a card with ten tickets (the price by trip is 1 euro) and it is the same for bus, metro and train. But be careful because nowadays we are living several metro strikes, especially on Mondays.
