I was born in Scotland and moved to Canada as a child. I want to move back to the UK and work there. Do I need a visa or is my citizenship still valid? Do I have to apply to move back? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you're a British national, and have at some point held a British passport, then you may count as a returning resident. I'm not too familiar with this, but there is guidance here

You need a visa, returning resident. Go to British High commission in Ottawa
