My husband and I started applying for my Visa to move to the USA in August. December 20th, we got a notice from the USCIS saying:
"On December 17, 2008, we transferred this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case
"This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred."

We looked on the USCIS website for the processing time and it said 6 months for this form to process. What I wondered is does this six month time frame include the 4 months that we have already waited or is it six months at this processing site?
