    Hi all,

please help us figure this out. My bf and i have been together for 3 years, most of it in california, usa. Last year due to various circumstances, i had to move back to my home country india and he had to transfer to switzerland with his job.

We now want to get married and settle and live in switzerland. The swiss authorities have not been very forthcoming in helping us figure out what needs to be done to recognize marriage and have me move there.

We decided to get married in italy...i'm told the family visa in italy is easier to get. Does anyone have any insight, advice, suggestions towards this?

Any help or direction is much appreciated...
    Thanks!
