    The forum is a great way to connect with others, as well as the expat network (once you've made several posts to prevent spam.) Another way to connect is through expat blogs in Finland. The author of "A Scandinavian Interlude" is an American expat dad in Finland that even completed an expat interview.

    I'd also recommend the guide to Helsinki for tips on expat life in Finland.

    Hope these tips point you in the right direction! Anyone else available to offer tips & advice?
