just a query to see if anyone has experience!
i work in france for most of the year with my fiancee, we have a french twingo. we are in the uk and have found a french car here, which we want to buy.
now, the car has 4 months contole technique, and is registered in boulogne.
we work in the alps, haute savoie, 74 plate.
we know that in france a car must have at least 6 months CT to sell it in france.
of course an option is to buy it, and then do the controle as soon as we get back, or, does a uk mot cover us?
we are currently finding out from our insurer in france but the person who deals with our car is sick, bless.
