If you are coming in high season. That means that all the beaches, south of Lima will be lively. There is a new focus on beaches that are 1 hour or less from Miraflores. Let me search information about lodging there, ok?. Here is a link: http://www.playasperu.com/hoteles/index.php
The beaches in the north of Peru are also very nice, mainly Punta Sal (Tumbes) and Mancora (Piura). However, that means 1 and 1/2 hours by plane or 18 hours by bus. There are information about lodging in internet if you search with that names of the beaches.
Probably you already have everything for the southern circuit of Peru: Arequipa, Cusco, Puno. To extend you tour, ask for Manu tours. It is the jungle close to Cusco. It is very impresive, if you like adventure.
In Lima, you will need a good city tour: the historical downtown, the water's magic, and the like...
In Miraflores you will find a very good restaurant that you can not miss, is La Rosa Nautica. Go by night and ask for a good pisco sour.
For peruvian food and nice typical show, I recommend you the restaurant JUNIOS.
Go to a grocery store like Wong and buy typical sweets such as turron de donha pepa, paneton, king kong de manjar blanco. They also have fresh sweets such as arroz con leche, mazamorra morada, arroz sambito.
In other district you will find also very good peruvian cousine in Jose Antonio restuarant as well as a nice and longer typical show in Brisas del Titicaca.
