Hello - I am a US citizen who has an ILR. I am marrying a French national, and we are trying to determine in what country we need to legally marry. Would it make sense to get married in the UK? If we do that how do we declare our marriage in the USA and France?
Also would my partner be able to apply for a US green card?

    So many question!!:)

    Thank you very much!

    Hello,
In order to apply for the necessary immigration visa you will need to declare the marriage to the US authorities, at the Consulate.
