In case you haven't landed in Sydney yet, you can try the following two websites for share accommodation:

and
http://www.realestate.com.au

Otherwise, try the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper on Saturday mornings. It has a big real estate section which includes share accommodation.

as above mentioned you will work for few months so i would recommend you to have a room or share it with anyone so that it will be not that much costly too...
this will be the best idea for you
