Selling a flat in Munich

My father has just died, and I have the job of selling his small flat in Munich.

Can anyone tell me the process please.

Do estate agents charge a fee to the buyer and the seller?

Are solicitors fees included in estate agents fees?

Your help would he very much appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss & wish you success in selling the property. I would recommend the EasyExpat guide's to Munich & it's section on real estate. It gives an overview of what to expect and listings for agents. (The Berlin guide was also recently added & it's real estate section may also have useful advice for you).

I would also recommend ToyTown- it is an English speaking forum for Germany & has a large contingent in Munich. http://www.toytowngermany.com/
