Renting a room - contract? Type of contract?

Postby AnnieB » Wed Nov 29, 2017 2:53 pm

Hi. I'm looking to rent a room in someone's home (in Portugal) and us (neither of us know) making a Contract/Agreement. As it's just a room not a whole property, in someone's home, what MUST be included in the agreement as a minimum (I guess much less than if a whole property over a period of time)? I've trawled the Internet and can't find the answer. If no-one knows for sure, does anyone have a telephone number of someone or an organisation that does, please? Thanks. I don't speak Portuguese (yet).

You might find some advice through the links in our article on Flatsharing in Portugal in the expat guide:

Best of luck and see you soon on the forum (don't forget to come back to share your finding  )

Thanks Cyril. I'm pretty sure I scanned those before I sent my request here but I'll go over them again. Thank you.
