Hi everyone, I got engaged to my american fiancee at christmas and we would like to get married in his hometown of Gainesville, Florida in June 2013. Is it legal and possible for me to marry him using my tourist (esta waiver) visa, then for us to return back to the UK, him as a tourist and yes he will be returning to florida as he has commitments there. I too have no intention of staying once married in florida, as I have property too sell in the UK and commitments too sort out. The only thing my fiancee will do in florida and once we are married is file a petition when over there, which we understand the petition needs to be done from the usa. We are both happy too visit each other whilst we are waiting for the visa process to take its natural course. As I have said, neither of us will be staying in each others home country once married as we have commitments that need sorting out whilst we await the process of visas.

Any advice would be really appreciated
