I am a citizen of Serbia and I am currently 17 years old.
I am a temporary resident of Slovenia - I got my temporary residence card on September 13th, 2011, based on a family connection to a Slovenian citizen. On January 7th I went back to Serbia to study (finishing secondary school here in Serbia).
I am planning to travel to Ireland as a tourist in September 2012.
Am I allowed to travel to Ireland without a visa?
Am I allowed to travel to Ireland without the EU citizen that is my family member?
I am going to be 18 years old in August 2012, and I am planning my trip to Ireland for when I am 18 (so I can travel alone).
I saw the information that me residing in a country other than the EU country of residence (Slovenia) is approved if it is under 10 months and if there is an obvious reason (in my case, it is study).
In August I am planning to go back to Slovenia (which is only 8 months since I last left Slovenia to go to Serbia, so I am guessing my residence card should still be valid?).
I want to go to Ireland in September 2012 and I wish to travel without my EU citizen family member. I would like to know whether I need a visa or any special requirements other than having a valid passport and my residence card.
If I need a visa, what are the documents that I need to provide?
As well, while I am in Serbia I am planning on replacing my old passport (the one that I first entered Slovenia with when I got my residence card) because of my Serbian address being changed. Will it affect the validity of my residence card? Do I need to report the change being made to my passport to the authorities that issued me the residence card?
Is there anyone else I need to contact with regarding my questions? This is really urgent to me since I don't have much time left to plan my trip to Ireland.
Also, what is the time limit that I would be able to stay in Ireland for?
    Thank you in advance!

The Expat Guide to Dublin is a great place to start when thinking about moving/visiting Ireland. It has a section on visas.

I am not sure about the specifics of your situation. Anyone have more specific advice?

    Hello,

I am under hiring process to go and work in Ireland. I just need your help about the living cost and the minimum wage for an expat to live decently in Ireland. Can anyone help me out on this?
I will be going there to work as a French Support in HR and I would like to know how much I can propose as salary so that I cannot shock the interviewer and succeed in it. Because this is the most difficult part when in an interview. Actually this will be the final interview and I will get the offer. Please help !!

    Thank you,

    Karly
