Hi All, Just wanted to ask if anyone heard of EU Passport, is there anything like that? I am slovak nationality, my husband tunisian, been married 2 year, and wanted to know if there is a chance of getting eu passport for my husband, as i dont think he can apply for slovak passport, as we are living in London. He would like to obtain this passport in order not to having to apply for Schengen everytime he wants to travel Europe, and to make it easier to travel through Europe. Many thanks Dasa
There is no EU passport (as the European Union is NOT a nation) but there is a common visa for the countries part of the Schengen agreement that you will have to apply to.
An EU passport is a passport issued from any of the European countries that are members of the European Union, at the last count all these are EU passports.......... Austria Belgium Bulgaria Cyprus Czech Republic Denmark Estonia Finland France Germany Greece Hungary Ireland Italy Latvia Lithuania Luxembourg Malta Netherlands Poland Portugal Romania Slovakia Slovenia Spain Sweden United Kingdom
Passports quote the Country, and then if they are members of the EU. For example: But in those examples the passport also depends on the Schengen agreement, for cross boarder movements. This agreement has been signed by Switzerland for example (not a EU member) but not by the UK.
