    Your question is very specific, so the only thing that we can advise is to start the paperwork with the French admin and you will see what they require... and be patient ;-)

    From the link you send I think I have the right of blood. My maternal grand father and my mum are french and they hold French passport. I am quite worried about the time period they would need. My visa in the Uk finishes in 6 months Feb. I just send all my docs today. I am over 31 now so I am panicked. I have never renounced French nationality. But I did not confirm when I turned 18. I was busily engaged in studies and been away from home I never got a chance to do so. Now I am in need. I have send my grand dad's original Birth certif from nantes. His french military job entries photo copy, my original Birth certif. All possible docs.
    Can some one say if there is any thing specifically they may need.
