    Feeling the need for roller coasters, my husband & I are planning a trip to Europapark (http://www.europapark.de/lang-en/Home/c ... hange=true) in SW Germany. Has anyone been or have any tips? I know it will be probably be cold & rain as it is November in Germany, but I am still really excited.

    We are actually flying into Basle as it offers great flights from Berlin (EasyJet) & we love seeing new places. Anyone have tips, blog posts, etc? The Weihnachtsmarkt & lights will have just started that weekend so I am excited for that. Anyone been or have advice? :rolleyes:

    You have an interesting train station in Basel: old architecture heritage on one side, and modern on the other side, with a shopping centre in the middle above the rail tracks.
    Why do you go to Basel in your way to europapark as it is in Germany? Is it the closest airport? What about Strasbourg?

    Basle had by far the cheapest air fares & we've never been. We've been to Strasbourg before, and to fly here from Berlin we would have to fly to Paris, change planes, then fly on to Strasbourg. Also - the park offers great joint deals on transport to & from Basle and entrance.

    We will definitely check out the train station. Sounds beautiful :D
