Hi,

Me and my husband were married in 2007 I aquired my permanent residency in May 2010, however in August 2010 I stopped working as I was sacked, due to taking too much time off to take care of my son who had some developmental problems, at the moment I am not working only my husband does,(I receive housing benefits and child tax credits, I never applied for jobseekers allowance),obviously, I am going to go back to work as soon as I find one.
My husbands family visa ends december 2012, and he will have to apply for permanent residency, is there a possibility that because of my break in employment he will not get a residency permit? All answers are much appreciated. Thanks
