Paris schools

Postby R. G. Diamond » Tue Apr 08, 2003 2:49 pm

We would love to move to Paris, but have a seven year old and know nothing of the schools. Ideally, we'd like something progressive, English-language based (although of course we want him to become bilingual) and that he has a prayer of getting into.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

www.inpat.fr has all the info on all schools. The free, and private ones. The bilingual, english, german....
And they also advise you because they know all the schools personnally.
You have to pay to be a member but you can get free access at the beginning.

I organize workshops on Eduation in France and schools in Paris to help expats find schools and adapt rapidly to the system. I can also help you from a distance if you're not planning a trip to France in the near future.

Dear Margeret Lanzenberg,

I wanted to reply to your message you sent to "easyexpat" because I really wanted to know if you could help me.
I live in Switzerland in Lausanne and I'm half english and half german. But I speak french fluently.
Do you think you could help me find a school for me in Paris? I Would like to move there next year. I'm 19 years old and since many years, I've been thinking of moving to Paris. I find that it's an exciting city to live in and i have a boyfriend since 4 years who lives there.
By the end of the year, I'm going to have a " Diplôme en socio-pédagogie" and I don't know yet if I can get into a school in Paris with a Swiss diploma.
I would be interested in finding a hotel school or a school to become a " conseillère en famille" so to a school where I could study Psychology.
I really hope you're kind enouth to give me 1 0r 2 advises...

See you soon, Joanna Fairgrieve
