I am a US citizen who in thee years hopes to have become a EU citizen by reclaiming my ancestral Polish citizenship. Pretty much my primary goal for the outcome of this is to have the flexibility to come live and work in the UK. Now that I will be a citizen, will I somehow be able to allow my wife to have the same freedom as long as we are together?

Also, in that same time frame I plan on completing a B.Sc. in physics and would like complete a master's or Ph.d. even in the UK, I've heard although you can get better funding and studentships being an EU citizen that there are often residency requirements, any info in that regard would be great help!
