Just wondering if anyone has been through the process of applying for French citizenship based on marriage and can tell me about their experience. I'm wondering how long it takes and what the process is exactly. I applied about 15 months ago and am wondering if the end is in sight! I applied through a French embassy overseas. About a year after I applied, I received a letter requesting my parents birth certificates and marriage certificate, which I sent. Then i received another letter asking me to sign a print out of information about me. Is the end in sight? Need to figure out whether this will be resolved in time for me not to have to apply for visas. I'm very grateful for any advice. Thanks.
