Need to find an apartment from May

Need to find an apartment from May

Postby sonodiinglese » Wed Mar 30, 2011 10:49 am

Hello,

I'm new to the forum. I will be moving to Milan in May, and I need to find an apartment to rent within one week of arriving, or before I get there. Does anyone have any advice on whether finding somewhere and being able to move in within one week is feasible?

If not, do you know of any reputable estate agents that one can liaise with while still in England? Then I could try to find somewhere before moving over.

In addition, if anyone has any info on typical costs associated with renting (deposit, agency fees etc.) that would be great.

Thanks!

Check out the EasyExpat guide to Milan (http://www.easyexpat.com/en/milan.htm) for tips on the city, including apartment rental (http://www.easyexpat.com/en/milan/accom ... dation.htm). This section also includes an estimate of fees.

Best of luck!

Hi there

I am expat in Milan and my contract finishes in the end of April. The flat I am living in will be available in May.
It is an amazing 1 bed appartment in zona Porta Romana, close to Lodi TIBB metro station.
If you are interested, send me an email rlucke@hotmail.co.uk and I can forward you pictures and more info.

Ciao Renata and aperonet!

Thanks for the messages, but I have since found a place to live. If this doesn't work out for whatever reason I'll see where you are at with your respective searches.

Thanks
