If anyone is interested in getting more information about moving to Sydney, and deciding where they should live, try this website called cityhobo.com

    http://www.cityhobo.com

It's got plenty of information on the type of suburbs to suit singles, families, professionals. There's information on rent, on where to find doctors, which are the good cafes, what sort of public transport is available, it lists schools and childcare, and fitness centres like gyms and yoga places.

I've been using it since moving back to Sydney and there is so much information there.

There's stuff new people to Australia need to know about tipping, car registration, drivers licenses, getting to and from the airport etc.

The webiste also suggests day trips you can do with or without a car which is handy for newcomers or tourists.
