Hi,

I'm moving to Montreal this summer probably on August 2011, i tried to do some research about the tax rate there but i could not find any specific answers or real examples. There's some complicated formulas about federal tax than provincial tax but none of those resources is giving me clear idea about how i'm gonna be paying as tax when i start working there!
let's take a real life scenario if you yearly income is about 50,000 CAD and you are single what will the income tax be? What if it is 60,000 CAD or 70,000 CAD?

Another thought, when i will move to Montreal i will transfer some money from my current home bank account to Montreal Canada so i can spend from it while i'm searching for a job, will the government tax me on that?
