    I am Canadian citizen. I am going to Florida on January.

    I have possible job offers and want to apply for TN visa status.
    If I get a job offer, I should apply on the port of entry in Toronto. The problem is that I am afraid that if my TN visa is rejected for any reason, the immigration officer won't let me go back to Miami again. May this happen ? Can I just stay in the border ? or how it works ?

    It would be a big trouble since I am planning to leave Canada and stay in USA for for 3 or 4 months to keep applying for jobs. Any sugestions ?

    I may not answer your question but here is my experience.


    I am Canadian citizen of Pakistani descent. I personally am a victim and agree to the reports that Canadians are being tested, finger printed and photographed at US border while applying for TN Visa.


    Recently I applied for TN status visa and I was photographed, finger printed and stamped at the passport. Other candidates on same date do not have go through this.

    Finally got the Visa but I will think twice before moving to USA. since my family lives in TOR I have to come back and do not want to go through this process every time.

    Question Is do they really needs Canadians?

    Is it not racial profiling of Canadian citizens?
