I'm from Winnipeg, Canada and have been lucky to live in India off and on since 1995. My base since 2005 is Mumbai with business and pleasure taking me around Asia and sometimes other places too.

My blog Everyday Asia started in April 2013 is about utterly mundane everyday realities in India, Asia and sometimes beyond viewed through my peculiar perspective. Exploring and sharing the ordinary helps me rediscover with delight, humour and even acceptance aspects that can otherwise be inspiring, challenging or a bit of both!

I'm passionate about many things and enjoy the performing arts - especially music and theatre - plus can be found enjoying a wee dram of whisky from time to time.
