My friend is going to be attending design school in Milan. She is Japanese, adult, responsible, speaks Italian, sweet. I have been posting on some of the expat sites that I am a member of...she has contacted agencies in Milan. She rented an apartment - excited- only to be called by the agency saying the landlord wanted more money per month-nearly double the agreed upon rent.

I was hoping that someone, expat preferably, someone who is sympathetic to a foreigner's situation, would perhaps have an apartment or knowledge of one that they could recommend.

She is hoping for rent in the 600-680 Euro per month...
