I am a part-time freelance writer (american) who is moving the UK next mont and would like to freelance while looking for a job and work permit. Am I legally allowed to write for British publications without a work permit? Single articles I mean? Surely this must work, since so many papers/magazines have international contributors - but how?

    Many thanks.
