Hello! I posted a topic about this a couple months ago, but didn't get any answers, so I dug a bit deeper on the subject of studying in the UK on a Spousal Visa.

I have consulted many organizations about this, and the Welsh Assebly Government have given me all the answers I need.

In order to study in the UK under the "home Fees", one needs to be Ordinarily Resident for the past three consecutive years prior to the start of the course. You do not need to have been "settled" for all three years.

You will also need to have Indefinite Leave to Remain (or another form of entry/leave where you have no limitations on your stay) prior to the day of the course starting.

I have now got my Indefinite Leave to Remain, but I have only been ordinarily resident in the UK for the past two years, I must pay the overseas fees this year, but as of next year, I will fall under the home fees category.

This website helps with international students in the UK:

Here is a list of categories and the attributes you need to have in order to qualify. If you qualify, you will be able to obtain financial aid from the government as well as reduced tuition fees in most cases.

This is for England, Wales, and Northern Ireland:

    This link is for Scotland:

I have come accross many students who were just as confused as me about this, but I am just glad I could help clear this up without having to take my case to the courts! ^_^
