If your driver's license is from a major country, you are normally ok to drive in a foreign country for a period of time. I have found that you can drive with a foreign driving licence for as long as it is valid,
but you must have a copy translated & notarised & keep with you in addition to your actual licence when driving.

 

Thanks for the personal tip killer_cain! How are you finding Istanbul? Have you been there long? I only visited for a few days, but I loved the city. I would love to see more of Turkey.

 

No worries! I've been here over 2 years now, nice place, but very busy! You need more than a few days to see what all it's got! But I haven't travelled so much here, always working, but I'm going Bodrum for a few days next week, with a trip to the Greek islands!

Yes, just in Berlin. We're so crazy, we have expatriated twice to this wild city! It is a fabulous place and we really enjoy living here. However, it would be interesting to live elsewhere. Maybe someday...
