That sounds good, let's definitively meet for a beer or something else!

But what about earlier? Julia, do you maybe want to meet for a coffee or drinks? I would be pleased to get some advices where to go and what to do in Milan:)
And for sure everybody else could feel free to join!

Hi Lyn and welcome to Milan.

First of all you should put a photo in your profile, it makes your messages nicer and more visible. Everyone should do that in this discussion actually :-)

Just a quick reminder to also link to the guide for expats in Milan where you will find plenty of advice and tips for your new life 8-)
Take a few seconds to upload a  profile photo: it will be nicer and all your messages will have a much greater visibility 8-)

Hi everyone, I moved to Basiglio 10 weeks ago, I am looking to meet new friends from there and Milan. I am English, from Nottinghamshire. I am hoping to learn Italian as I go along. It would be great to join if people plan to meet up :)

Hi all
I moved to Milan about a month ago and I'd really like to make some new friends.
Is there anyone else in roughly the same position, maybe we could grab an aperitivo as a group?
Let me know :D

Yep, and as soon as you've decided for a date and a place, we can also advertise on twitter if you fancy, so more expats can join :-)
