Hi There, I am 26 years old and just moved to Paris to live with my French boyfriend. I am loving the city but missing my girlfriends back home!! I would like to meet someone to explore the city with and practice french with. If you would like to meet up for a coffee let me know....Thanks! Alice

And to everyone else - I'm looking for some people to meet, too. Will be in Paris in the middle of September, gonna move there with my baby. I'm not sure for how long yet, but I'lll have lots of free time to fill.

Would love to meet other moms around but not necessarily, as I like to talk about non baby stuff from time to time.

Don't speak a word of french yet, so preferably english or german speaking people.

I'm 21 and have just moved to Maisons Lafitte to be an au pair for 9 months, I would love to meet some other people as I am also missing my girl mates back home!

Are you working in Paris? I am trying to plan a trip to visit Paris this weekend as I am only 20 mins away but am planning carefully so I don't get lost!

I'm applying to be an au pair at the minute in Paris, I've been talking to one or two families and I'm keen to move over.

Are you enjoying it? I've never been an au pair in a foreign country before so it would be nice to get your view.

If you are new to the city and want to meet a lot of people, then why don't you join us at the the Pub St-Germain in downtown Paris. We start at 6pm, ask for Paris4u group, or come directly to the 1rst floor, Chinese room. All nationalities are there, we are a great group, and I look forward to seeing all of you there on Sunday!

Hi everyone,

Thanks for replying to my post. I will be back in Paris at the end of September as I have had to go home to Ireland for a few weeks. I'm not working at the moment so have plenty of time to meet up when I get back. Would love to meet up for a coffee with whoever is interested and explore the city.

I'm looking for foreign friends, especially for English people, to improve my English level, in order to go to GB or USA for medical stages.

Salut Colas and everyone else,

I’m 26 female and I just moved to Paris last week with my work. I’m loving every moment of being here but I desperately need to work on my French. It has been years since I needed to speak French. I would love to meet up with one or a few people and help each other master English and French.

If interested send me a note and hopefully we can grab a glass of wine or beer this week or weekend. I always find that language practice is better over a glass of wine!

I am in the same sort of situation, I moved to a Parisien suburb in September and haven't had a chance yet to meet people, make friends, and explore. I finished uni this year, and got a job offer and decided to move out here since I want to become fluent in French, and its far easier just living in the country. However, we speak english at work so I don't get that much practise. Therefore anyone who wants to practise for a language exchange or anyone who, like me, is in need of friends to explore, hang out, dine out, have drinks or go out just let me know!
