Hi!

I'm Stephen, I'm 22 from Northern Ireland.. Just moved to Madrid in the hope of finding a job teaching english! Unfortunately the only person I knew here is moving away.. And walking around on my own is starting to get a bit boring!

My Spanish is somewhere between 'not great to non-existent' so would love another English speaker to chat to! I'm a pretty relaxed person and interested in just about most things..

If anyone wants to meet for a drink sometime, my email is stephengilmore@hotmail.co.uk

Ciao!

Welcome Stephen!
Plenty of jobs here for teaching English it would appear, one of my friends has been offered 3 in the last few days, she's on here so might message you herself around that.
As Fificlaire has already mentioned there is a group of us who meet up fairly regularly now to wander around the city but mostly spend time eating and drinking in the various Montaditos dotted around the city!
We will probably be going out Friday or Saturday and doing touristy things too. Which part of the city are you living?
Look forward to meeting you and getting you a bit more settled!

Hola a todos,

I arrived last week in Madrid and I will be living here until June.
Right now I feel a little bit lost in this big city, my classes don't start befor mid-october. I am not too sure of how to meet people.
So I found this forum and I would be glad to meet some of you in Madrid.
So if there is any interesting activities coming up, please keep me updated!

Cheers,

Guillaume from Québec.
