London: teacher at a (private)school

Postby Wanted » Sat Jan 14, 2006 7:58 pm

:?:
Hello,
I'm a german student at the 11th class, in 2007 I will make my exam, but I don't want to study directly after my exam, I would prefer to work about one year in London.
and now my question: I've heard of the possibility to work one year at a privateschool as a kind of unskilled teacher for "german as a foreign language", but I can't find such schools or agencies in the internet. can sb. help me?

thanks in advance

Guten tag!
I am not sure what level you are at school ? and whether it is only university students who can do this !?? but you can find some information about being a 'Foreign Language assistant in the UK' (langauge being German I guess) on the following site - I have also copied the German contact as advised on the British Council website and it could be useful for you to contact the British Council to see what they could offer you or help you with !!!!

thank you very much for the information above, but it couldn't help me, because I'm no student, yet. the women who manages the german exchange program told me, that i have to be a student in the second or third year for this program.

CAN SOMEBODY ELSE HELP ME TO FIND AN ORGANISATION????????? PLEASE!!
