Dear All,

I arrived in the US 3 weeks ago with a J2 visa. I applied for a work permit 1 week later. It is written that it takes between 30 and 90 days to get it.

But I had a look on USCIS website. They are currently processing applications dating October, 30 2006!

I am kind of afraid it takes longer than expected!

So, I would really appreciate to have feedbacks from people who have applied for work permit and who could tell me the time it took for them to receive it.
