An "italian foreigner in milan"

Postby Dark Knight 1978 » Wed Apr 25, 2012 9:18 pm

Hello all!
I'm Alex, 34 years old. I moved to Milan the last week.
I've worked in Milan for many years but never lived here steadily.

I'm italian but I can speak fluent english. I'd like to meet foreigners in milan to share
time together and create new friendships.

I speak english everyday at work but I'd like to improve it and relate with people that are not english native to improve language together. I like to know about different cultures and uses.

I can even help you with the italian language and support you to live in Italy and the italian bureaucracy.

I like photography, art, cinema, music. Some activities interesting would be hanging out together to visit the city, try new places (pubs, cafes, bars, discos), have fun, organize events, meeting and aperitives, prepare typical dinners, watching sport matches together and so on...

I hope to meet many foreign guys and girls.

Thank you all.
Alex

Welcome to EasyExpat Alex! :D

Feel free to introduce yourself on the Welcome Wagon.

The Expat Guide to Milan should help you with get even better acquainted with the city, as well as connecting with expats through the expat network and expat blogs.

I would also point out an expat interview with the blogger of "A Change of Underwear". He shares insights about being an expat in the city. Best of luck!

Thank you all for your replies and private messages I've received.

Please, keep contacting me. I'm trying to organize a meetup with some people so we can have a walk and a drink all together.

I hope to hear from you all.

Cheers,
Alex

Even if the weather seems won't help, I agree with this weekend. We can go in a nice cafe.

We'd meet in the city center. It's well connected and then we can decide together where to go.
I'd propose a couple of coffees pretty easy to be reached. There are even pubs if meet later in the evening. Depends how the weather will be and what everybody want to do.

Feel free to suggest any nice place you've already tried.

cheers

Hi,
good idea. so how about todays early evening, say 18h?
Center you mean like Duomo?
Alternatively, I could think of Largo La Foppa (M Moscova) some nice bars etc. around there, or meet at porta Ticinese as there are plenty of places (at least I heard ;-) )

Hello all,
yes, I was thinking about Duomo or something close there.

Even Moscova would be ok, or Cadorna. By the way, wherever we meet, we can move on to any place we prefer.

I'll send you my private contacts so we can keep in touch.

For the 18:00, i think is ok.

As soon as we have decided where and when I'll update the thread.
