    What is the opinion on how hard it is to get a place to live if you wait until after you arrive in your new country?

    How hard is it to get a place to live in a foreign country if you try to handle it before you arrive in the new country?

    It depends really on where you want to go... :headscratch:
    The easiest is probably flatsharing at the bwginning. It gives you facility and opportunities for a small budget. You can find a lot of advice in our section Find an accommodation when you choose a city. For example it can take 1 day to 1 week in London...
    If you've got a bigger budget, then you go to an agency and it can take a few weeks.
