Immigration advice needed

Postby Bernie78 » Tue Aug 16, 2011 9:21 am

Hi, I am looking for immigration advisers regarding living in France, working in Swiss and spousal visas for my non-EU spouse. If anyone knows any reliable and good advisers, please let me know.

My situation:
I am currently working on a consulting basis for a Swiss client from the UK.
My situation in the coming months:
I am a UK citizen, will be working in Switzerland and living in France.
I am marrying my non-EU fiancee, who will be living with me in France and who I'd like to also be able to work in Switzerland. She does not have a job yet.

My questions:
1.1 What visas do I need? Swiss category G I presume?
1.2 What visa does she need, Swiss and France? How difficult will it be to obtain eg. spousal visas etc? (She will have a UK spousal visa, she is South African)
2. If she works in Switzerland as a frontalier, i.e. lives in France, does the permanent residence and citizenship rules in France change for her? What are those rules? eg. 3 years for residence, five years for citizenship.
3. What if we start a business that has clients in France and Swiss? Are there any limitations?
