I live in Mexico city and I'm moving to London, I'll be there around the end of December / beginning of January and I wonder if someone can help me clarifying these... I'm packing my winter clothers but don't know if I better pack some kind of down coat or jacket... I mean I don't know if it's necessary to pack all my winter clothes , or if I pack my normal office clothes and then normal coats... am I going to be ok....

From my job they are paying me up to 500 pounds to be shipped to me , from Mexico to London , so I don't know if I better leave all the fluffy / bug stuff here and then wait for it to reach me there or , even then I won't need it???

Does it snow there? is it always rainy ? will my clothes (from here) be usefull there??

Also, should I need to also pack some dishes , iron ? etc? the thing is that I'm trying to find a place to share with other roomates and I've seen that normally all places are fully furnished but I don't know if that normal ... so I don't know if I also , probably will need to pack those kinds of stuff too...

    Could you help me ?

Indeed all places you can let have normally a fully furnished kitchen. You might need one or two dishes but you will never know which one and if you are flat-sharing the others might have it.

Regarding the weather, it is mild. They have a few days of snow two years ago and it was amazing: everything was disrupted! It tells you that it does not happen that often. Regarding rain, a good umbrella will do it I guess. Often a thick jumper and good jacket will do it (except if you are going walking in the countryside of course).
