Hi Judith, I would say that 'cool' is an understatement, wouldn't you? When I was there in winter it was -35C! It is a great time to visit, and the ice festival is unique. I had a few rides on the dogsleds, but was not brave enough to stay a night in a room made from ice. Did you?
Very fast to get to Harbin now, on the latest bullet trains, but when I'm in China I only have to get from our flat in Changchun. Harbin is worth a visit in the summer too.

Hi Joneeboy, I think Harbin is an attractive city. Though its winter is a big challenge to me(because I fear cold very much, haha), it is still an amazing place I'd like to stay. The ice lanterns and sculptures are so beautiful and special. I like them very much. If you are brave enough, you can have a winter swimming when you are in Harbin. It's so exciting!

It's the best ice show in the world. I went a couple of years ago.

Yes. It is so amazing. Besides, China's Snow Town near Harbin is also awesome! I like its pure white snow and countryside view. Have you been there when you visited Harbin?
