Hi,

Easy Expat wishes you a very Happy New Year for 2005. Hoping that the new year will bring good fortune for us all. I would like also to spare a thought for the suffering and death of so many people as a result of the recent earthquake and Tsunami in Asia.


A few days late, below is a quick reflexion of the year 2004 on Easy Expat...

- January: Addition of the Small Ads Section [http://www.easyexpat.com/smallads_en.htm] in order to post your offers and searches for accommodation, but also for conversation exchanges, cars, furniture, etc...

- March: Change of the web host to provide a better service and more capability for expansion.

- July: New book section for expatriates [http://www.easyexpat.com/mod/books_en.htm]

- August-September: Organisation of 'Get-together' meetings with EasyExpat in Paris [http://www.easyexpat.com/forums/forum_28.htm]

- September: Organisation of an EasyExpat Event in New York [http://www.easyexpat.com/forums/ftopic_4156.htm]

- September: Directory of Expatriation [http://www.easyexpat.com/en/directory.htm]. This allows classification of all the websites regarding their themes on EasyExpat and to link with all our other categories. Therefore visitors will always be able to reach references in a few clicks.

- November: Organisation of an EasyExpat Event in London [http://www.easyexpat.com/forums/ftopic_4159.htm]

- December/January 2005: Implementation of a new forum, with new sections on Immigration and Repatriation. [http://www.easyexpat.com/forums/index_en.htm]

- Throughout the year, improvement of the information on the different cities with new articles on the Internet, language courses, summer jobs...

- Last but not least, the improvment of the Newsletter: we have eventually set up a full system allowing us to manage our newsletter. The NewsLetter is now only in English and French, but you should receive it more regularly with a calendar of international events each time.

And now what to wish for in 2005? I wait with anticipation for all your ideas and reactions in this forum.
