    Hello,

When I came to UK, I've signed the 27th of August 2008 a shorthold tenancy agreement of 12 months. However, my employer relocates me to France from the 1st of July 2009. Therefore, I've sent to my Landlord a one month's notice letter for leaving the property before the end of the term. Even if he do agree on the fact that I could leave during June 2009 instead of August 2009, he asks me for paying the monthly rental until he will find a new tenant.
From your opinion, would this professional relocation be considered as a "force majeure" reason? If so, is he in his right by requiring a full payment until the end of the term?

Any advice will be really appreciated.
    Regards.
