Hello There

I search a bit but I couldn't find subject about that. That's why writing here and hope I'm writing and searched in right pleace.

I need some information, I’m from Turkey and married with a Romanian citizenship and we live in Istanbul. I hold EU Family Member card since last year. It’s valid for 5 years (untill 2013). I need to know about what should I need to do for to get a Romanian citizenship and passaport. Can anyone guide me about it please?

Being married to a Romanian citizen does not give you the automatic right to be a Romanian citizen yourself. However, if you have been married for 3 years and speak Romanian, and have an attachment to Romania, and have no criminal convictions, Romanian citizenship MAY be granted to you.
