As I said before, my American spouse (equivalent of civil partner in the UK) and I (EEA citizen) have decided to relocate to the UK.
At the beginning we were hoping to do so in September; now unplanned events will not allow us to leave the US before mid-November.
My question is: do you think that this is still a good period to find a job in London or instead should we wait until next year?
The reason I'm asking is because here in America the job market is much slower at end of the year and finding a job close to Thanksgiving (end of Nov.) and Christmas takes much longer than for instance January, after all the holidays.
Is it the same in the UK? What are the best periods to go job-seeking?
I'm referring to skilled-jobs, not entry level.
Thank you indeed for any suggestion, opinion or recommendation...
