    Hello!
My husband applied for an EEA2 Resident Card in May. He received the paper from the Home Office acknowledging his application at the end of May. So it will be 6 months at the end of November and after reading a lot of posts where people complain because they are still waiting after 6 months I am getting a bit worried: we are going on holidays abroad for Christmas so my husband do need his passport back by then.
My question is: how much time in average does it take to get your passport (with the resident Card!) back when you complain to the Home Office after the 6 months? We have a sollicitor who will take care of this if necessary but I would like to hear about other people experiences!
Thank you very much for your help!
