Living costs no matter where depend on many things, like how big your family is and also on your life style. I do not know what you consider a good life. Some nationalities call it a good life when they live with 5 people in a 1 bedroom apartment, have one meal the day and the biggest entertainment is going to the public beach. Many are also into sharing apartments and it's common that 2 or 3 families share an apartment or villa.
Two Bed Room Apartment will cost 140,000 to 170,000 AED per year
Schooling will cost something around 50,000 AED Per year.
Renting a Vehicle would cost around 2500 AED per month.
