I am moving to France in September. I want to fly out to France right away, purchase a car and drive it back to England. I want to drive the car in England from April until September and then move out to France for a year of studying.

Do I have to purchase French Car Insurance?
Are there any fees to bring the car into England for under 6 months?Do I need to register it?
Is it better to get English Car Insurance?
What if I don't have a residence set up in France yet? Where would i get the car registered to?
Who do I contact in France to register the car?
