✎ EN Belgium citizenship by marriage

    Hi all,

    I am Indian girl, and right now working and living in Denmark from a year. Here I have found love of life, who is bvelgium but living in Norway from a year. Now, we are planning to have the wedding in the beginning of next year in India.
    I wish to apply for belgium citizenship, but we will living in Norway after wedding. Is there some way, I can apply for Belgium citizenship ? :)

    You can apply for Belgium citizenship based on your marriage. However since the 1st January 2013, it is not possible to apply for citizenship from abroad. In addition you need to leave to at least 3 years in Belgium with your husband.
