    You have the choice between several providers but the most famous are Optus and Telstra (for Landlines) and Vodafone, Orange, Three and Virgin Mobile (for mobile phones).

    An Australian phone number consists of 8 figures, and when you call another State or special number you have to add a local area code
    The numbers of mobile phones begin with 04.
