    The majority of jobs on offer to expatriates in Shanghai are posts within large multinational companies, such as Microsoft, IBM and General Motors. Most roles will require a high level of skill and experience.

    Executive search companies, or 'headhunters', operate in China, although their remit is generally to fill positions at an executive or senior management level.

    These are aimed at local people and the interface and often the job posting itself are in Chinese. However, the larger multinationals use these websites to post job advertisements, so you may be rewarded if you can find a helpful translator.

    If you are considering relocating to Shanghai, the initial interview may take place by telephone. During the interview, you will have to describe and explain your experience noted in your CV. Offers of employment may comprise a monthly salary, a contribution towards accommodation costs, healthcare benefits and occasionally a contribution towards car/transport costs.

    i suggest you guys ad www.newchinacareer.com to this section. Its a english language job site for china so you dont have to able to read mandarin to browse jobs here.
